This 850 EVO is fast as the ‘PRO’ version, apparently (YouTube tests) except it is guaranteed for 5 years not 10yrs. Straight forward replacement, took advice on how to replace the unit off YouTube. Clean install from fresh with latest OS system via Wi Fi from Apple Store, Lion first then Sierra. using for Music production / Video editing, so adding Logic Pro, Cubase and Live. Extremely fast compared to what we had, also upgraded RAM from 4GB to 16GB.
