Solid Ramen

I like this ramen a lot. It is a little expensive though. When I got it, it was about $2 a cup, but I like to have a variety of flavors to choose from and I find the Asian ramen tends to be less artificial tasting than the Cup-o-ramen that they sell in American stores. I found this flavor to be similar to my favorite Korean soup, Soon Du Boo Jigae – minus the tofu. It does have a strong seafood flavor, so if you don’t like shrimp and bonito, you will probably not like this. This also has large bits of seaweed in here. Most people who aren’t use to seaweed may not like it. The noodles are a bit hard and you need to let it steep a bit longer than normal. Be forewarned, the spice packet is VERY spicy. I like to flavor mine with just a half-packet. Even then, my desensitized tongue burns and my eyes water a bit. It really clears up the sinuses. This is easier to make than Indomie (which does taste better but has 5 packets). So, overall, I am giving this a 4 due to the convenience of it on Amazon and the variety it offers.
