Returning the Sad Little Go Travel Cart: It Fell on its Face Over & Over
On my brand new Go Travel Luggage Travel carrier, the platform did not stay open, even after it was properly clicked open. The bungy cord was too short and too strong for the plastic platform to stay latched in the open position so I could not properly roll it, even with just one small carry-on bag on it. It kept falling on its face over and over. Each time I tried to stand it up again, it twisted to the side again, and then fell on its face again. I successfully rolled it a few feet part way through the ordeal, then it fell over again. I finally picked it up by the handle with my bag still on it and carried it like a very heavy purse. I am returning it and do not recommend it to anyone.
I bought this Go Travel cart because it was cheaper and I thought I could use it for lighter loads such as two or three carry on bags. I was wrong. I couln’t make it work for even one bag at a time.
The same day I bought the above non-cooperative cart, I also bought a cart that cooperates very well and does for me snd my carry on bags all that it says it will do. Its brand name is Maple Leaf and its descriptive name is something like this “Maple Leaf International Travel Trolley.” The Maple Leaf International Travel Trolley was more expensive, close to $30, but it has more features and I bought it for bigger loads. It handles them well. The Maple Leaf International Travel Trolley performs perfectly for me, and for me is therefore worth every penny. I wrote a separate (positive) review for that product and gave it (the Maple Leaf one) 5 stars. I ordered another Maple Leaf International Travel Trolley. The Maple Leaf International Travel Trolley with extension sides is the one that works for mep. It stands up straight and strong even when fully loaded with 5 carry-on bags. Search for it on Amazon.ca if you want a well behaved inexpensive trolly for shopping otr carry-on bags.
